Search For The Needle Chapter 2 basement
Search For The Needle: Find the key, pull all levers, restore the alien picture, locate your number clue and match colored crystal counts to finish the basement.
Before the three puzzles
The inspected basement walkthrough shows two earlier objectives: Find the Key in the Haystack and Pull All Levers. Confirm both on your objective panel before working through the three puzzle tasks. The official Chapter 2 badge describes finding the key and escaping the basement.
The sequence below follows Phantom’s September walkthrough. Use the reference picture and clues in your current room. Numbers visible in one recorded run are not proven universal passwords.
1. Restore the alien picture
Inspect the complete reference image beside the tile board. Arrange the square picture pieces so the board matches that reference. Work with recognizable edges and picture features rather than guessing from an unrelated screenshot.

The observed run moves from 0/3 to 1/3 on the Solve Puzzles counter. If the image looks correct but the counter has not changed, compare every tile with the reference again.
2. Find your hidden number clue
Search the basement floor and nearby objects for the number clue. Read the digits in your room and enter that sequence at the keypad. The walkthrough shows a floor clue before reaching the second completed-puzzle checkpoint.
Why not use a fixed password?
A number from one video may not apply to another room or update. This guide has not established a universal code. Use your own clue and confirm the counter reaches 2/3.
3. Match the colored crystals
Inspect the red, purple and green crystals around the room. Count each color separately and set its matching colored pedestal number. This counting method is based on the inspected footage; the current room is the authority if an update changes the puzzle.
The observed run shows three pedestal values of four before the ending. That is an example from the video, not a claim that every run uses those values. Complete your room’s pattern and allow the ending to play.
If the basement will not finish
Keypad rejects the number
Return to the floor clue and re-read the digits. Do not keep entering a password copied from a different run.
Crystal puzzle stays incomplete
Count one color at a time and match it to the pedestal color. Look around the room for a missed crystal before changing all three values.
Do not reset immediately after the final input. Let the ending complete and check the Finished Chapter 2 badge on Roblox afterward.
